The mountain station is both the start and end point. The track runs towards Filzalmsee and its 2.5 km length, can be managed comfortably by any cross-country skier. Due to the high altitude, the snow is in great condition until the end of the winter season.
Over the years the Pillersee Valley has made a name for itself as the cross-country skiing centre of the region. Between 1978 and 2005 the Biathlon World Championships were held in the Pillersee Valley. The certainty of snow is the guarantee for a great holiday in winter.
