Skiing and winter holidays at the Ski World Wilder Kaiser Brixental means never ending holiday fun. The Ski World Wilder Kaiser offers 90 cable cars and lifts which serve 250 km of pistes and 70 Ski Huts and inns, which are looking forward to your visit. The amalgamation with the Kitzbühel -Kirchberg skiing area has added a further 170 km of pistes.
After the amalgamation with the Kitzbühel/Kirchberg skiing region, Ski World Wilder Kaiser Brixental will be the third largest skiing area in the world, starting with the 2008/2009 winter season. Its 420 km of pistes offer great downhill fun for skiers of any ability. Anyone wishing to learn more and improve their skills, will be expertly looked after, in Scheffau's ski schools. For snowboarders several fun parks are the hit! For our guest who prefer enjoying more tranquil activities there are both cross-country skiing and/or extended winter walks. The winter walks through the lovely countryside, or cross-country skiing (snow guaranteed) ensures you'll have a pleasant and sporty time away from the pistes, until the end of the season.
The varied terrain in Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser Brixental offers the right attraction for every taste. Families with children, winter walkers, cross-country enthusiasts, snowboarders, paragliders and lovers of difficult pistes, certainly get their money's worth during a winter holiday in Tyrol. Sporty skiers can try and emulate their heroes on timed ski-runs and racing runs. Several fun parks in the Wilder Kaiser ski area invite you to try snowboarding and much else. Toboggan runs at Söll, Going and Ellmau provide winter holiday fun of a different kind: enjoy the experience of a terrific flood-lit toboggan run at night! For paragliders there are three starting points in the Wilder Kaiser area: on Hohe Salve, Choralpe and Hartkaiser.
